Who? Myriad Silvre is my global handle in the (fantastic) superhero MMO City of Heroes (CoX).

Great, so... why the dA? I've been considering it for awhile. I enjoy browsing the CoX fanart posted to dA and realized that there are some accounts created entirely to showcase fanart (both of the account holder and commissions). Some users also post screenshots ("references") of their characters so others can get a feel for the character.

So, you're artsy? Eh, I try to be. It's not great, I will tell you that, but if I practiced I'd be better, I'm sure. My 'thing' is writing, so I will have a section here dedicated entirely to fanfiction regarding my toons... it will probably be empty for a long time, as writing is something I love but often have a difficult time with (yay, writer's block!).

Why don't you just add this stuff to your real account? I don't want to clutter up my real account with things specifically for a game. It's all art, and I'll talk about either account on the other, but I want to keep my non-CoX related work separate. This will be a place that I can showcase the amazing work of others and hopefully get those artists recognition.

... You want free art, don't you. Who doesn't? Right now I'm unemployed, so there's no way I can pay someone the cash s/he deserves for his/her hard work. But once I am financially able, I've seen some very amazing artists out there whom I'd love to pay to bring my humble toon to life.

Meanwhile, feel free to say hello to me in-game (I play predominantly on Virtue but have toons all over)! I'm a very friendly person in real life and love a nice chat -- it's how my husband and I met, after all ;)
